Montroit Music artist JayLives is a New York transplant currently living in Atlanta, which explains the east coast vibe that his project No More Lies is dripping with. At six songs–it’s the rapper’s introduction to the game. His style has an old school feel to it, although he predominantly explores more contemporary production–and angle that isn’t wholly unique in 2016, but effective nonetheless. At 25 years-old, he’s a new jack, but records like “Let’s Stunt,” “LikeBefore,” and “Papers” show some real promise.
