London, UK, singer, rapper, and producer VAS LEON is quick to name Michael Jackson as his biggest musical influence; greats often draw influnce from greats. He’s been building a heavy buzz gigging across the UK, Europe, and the USA and has become a part of the successful Miami-based collective GTPS. VAS has shared the stage with the likes of DJ Fresh and Ella Eyre–while on tour with Grammy award winning Fat Boy Slim–gaining further exposure and momentum.
Last year, he released his debut LP, Krossover. Critically acclaimed, it was an outstanding self-produced collection of tracks relating to a universal audience. It also debuted at no. 14 in the UK Hip Hop charts–impressive, right? He’s takeing his already unconventional approach to rapping to an entirely new level with his upcoming project, Krossover Deluxe. Truly a storyteller in a class of his own, he is set to take 2017 by storm.
