Rapper Thousand Times Sets Sights On A Grammy

“I want to show people that I’m good enough to make it in this industry.” —Thousand Times

Charlotte, North Carolina, based rapper Thousand Times has a lot going for his right now. He’s racked up over a million spins on SoundCloud, landed on various online charts, and even recently submitted his project “Road Map” for 2017 Grammy Consideration. As a producer whose worked with the likes of Emmy-winning spoken word artist Boris Bluz Rogers, he’s produced more than 10,000 beats; this all paints a pict of a dedicated dreamer with a crazy work ethic. After years of chasing this, the pieces are starting to come together.

His most recent record, the politically charged “Power,” seems to be getting the most focus right now, and rightfully so—especially considering the September shooting of Keith Lamont Scott that resulted in riots across the city of Charlotte. Take a listen to the track for yourself, and if you’re feeling it, mash the share button.
