Interview With Miami Rapper Legend Black

Miami, Florida, born Legend Black was always known for his creative side throughout his childhood. Growing up and having seen what he saw lead him to do things an average kid should not do; his family wasn’t well off, which made it worse. He caught a slew of charges at an early age and was in and out of serious trouble.

He’s seen it all–but he never gave up. He truly believes if there is no struggle, there is no progress. Recently, he did a quick Q&A with AAHH—check out his answers and music below.

Tell me about your music.

My music tells stories, and it can enlighten the right ones. I’m not spitting garbage I’m giving The People the truth. My bars are authentic.

How did you get involved in music?

It’s been an outlet for me growing up especially during My time of incarceration as a juvenile. Music was the only thing they couldn’t take from me.

Who/what were some of your influences?

My cousin because He showed Me the streets. As for Music Eight Ball & MJG, 2pac, Bigge, Nas, OutKast.

What have you released?

I have released a MixTape named “Money Run” which was featured in Coast2Coast Magazine (https://goo.gl/tbJrdF). I also have some singles out there with a various of artists.

What are you currently working on?

I just dropped that #oooohhremix which is on SoundCloud. I will also be dropping My first official Single “Block By Block” on iTunes soon.

What have been some of your biggest achievements thus far?

Staying true to myself and what I believe in. It’s great to see your vision evolve right in front of you.

What are your goals in the industry?

To give the People this heat and opening bridges for others.

What’s next for you, professionally?

Mastering [my] gifts.
