TOKiMONSTA recently announced the release of Young Art Sound—a compilation featuring artists on her Young Art imprint, tracks from like-minded friends and remixes of previously released tracks. Features include Anderson Paak, Jesse Boykins III, Two Fresh, Gavin Turek, Mono/Poly, CRi and more. Young Art was launched in 2014 with the release of TOKi’s Desiderium, followed by 2015’s You’re Invited joint EP with Gavin Turek. 2016 saw the release of her mini-album Fovere on the imprint featuring praised collaborations with Anderson Paak, Jonny Pierce, Turek and more, and a release from Montreal producer CRi.
Known for her unique take on electronic, hip-hop and dance music, TOKiMONSTER has taken her engaging live show and DJ sets to stages across the globe including major festivals like Coachella, Outside Lands, and more. TOKi is about to set out on a club tour with Montreal producer and Young Art labelmate Cri. The Young Art Sound Tour kicks off February 2 in NYC.
