Swedish-Liberian artist and producer DJMWB first discovered music at age ten when he found a Djembe under a neighbour’s hut. Growing up in the Liberian jungle without school or a structured family, music served as an escape and as well as a form of entertainment. As he grew, he decided to make it his career! His style can be best described as eclectic (to say the least) – fusing his Liberian voice with hip hop and R&B, while preserving the original spirit of the culture he grew up in. He also produces Afrolectro, which integrates hip hop and R&B with Liberian folk music. He describes his music as “his thoughts, his vision, and his true experience.”
