Diom Drops A Cool New EP, ‘Stage 3’

The CIV’s own Diom was first introduced to hip-hop by his older brother that would [often] listen to Eric B & Rakim. At the age of 13, he came to the US and was introduced to fruity loops and began producing; he soon graduated to logic when he got to college and started doing projects on his MacBook Pro. However, he never got to professionally mix and master his projects–Stage 3 is different. The Stage 3 Ep is a self-produced four track EP that Diom describes as “refined to give the feel of a full LP.”

It’s a unique blend of worldly elements and influences; a blend of contemporary sound banks blended with Pan-African elements gives it a fresh edge.
