uRLee – Save Me

Virginia rap artist uRLee (born Roger Lee Burley) possesses the distinctive ability to mix old school sound from the early days of rap with contemporary, relevant lyrics. He’s also been blessed with the rare gift to be real in his lyrics without being cynical. His strong voice conveys messages of positivity for all listeners — something lacking from a lot of upcoming acts. While he raps with an “in-your-face” style, it’s always done with personal vulnerability and dignity, using encouraging words to open listeners’ eyes and ears — and hearts — to hope and integrity.

His debut lead single, “Save Me,” from upcoming album Feed The People slated to drop on 6/08/2016, is worth a few spins. Conceptually, it’s about being torn between the two; good & evil. Visuals are directed by Joe Moore Productions, and the track is produced by Tone Jonez.
