Jarred Blake — aka St. Thomas — is a Paterson, New Jersey, bred rapper/singer/songwriter bringing his A-game. Growing up in an Orthodox Christian home in the 90’s kept St. from openly listening to Hip-Hop music. Because of his parent’s strict religious beliefs, he wasn’t allowed to listen to secular music at home. As a result, he would record his favorite hip-hop albums over his parent’s old gospel cassette tapes, ironically the recording he valued most was DMX’s “It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot” [ha]. He started earning recognition after first releasing music on Soundcloud — and his social following has been gaining steam with each release. He’s quickly becoming one of the most sought after independent artists in his region. Currently residing in Englewood, New Jersey, he records most of his music at the same studio as Fetty Wap — So Amazin Studios. He brings together elements of R&B, Pop, and hip hop with his two new singles, “Innately” and “She’s Heaven.” Great additions to your weekend playlist.
