Rari, from Charlotte, North Carolina, recently dropped his newest mixtape, Life In The Fastlane. A member of Kappa Alpha Psi –and a student at Johnson C Smith University–he’s been making music for four years now. His music, as he describes it, is “not something you just listen to; it’s something you listen through.” The tape, which is cosigned by indie DJ, Never Broke–who has a pretty lengthy catalog of releases– is a mixture of different styles and experiences.

In the past, Rari dropped singles with a group called Throwed Academy and Living Legends, which is established in Charlotte, Georgia, and Florida. Influenced by the likes of the SpeakerKnockerz, Drake, Mac Miller, and Wiz Khalifa, he’s bringing music that is as true to himself as possible. Give Life In The Fastlane a spin, and if you’re feeling it, mash the share button.
