Prince Taylor has two differentiating factors from a lot of the unsigned artists we’ve posted this year. For starters–he resides in Austria and is originally from Zimbabwe. So, off the rip, his point of view and reference is 100% different than 98% of our readers. That being said, his influence and sound effortlessly mimic the contemporary wave, which is ruling the North American market. His cadence–and content–is clearly representative of his heritage. Currently part of a group called T.O.A.O. (The One and Only), the first thing that struck us was the high quality of the video content they’re dropping. His latest record, “She Knows” featuring Beflame, benefits from lush, exotic backdrops, gorgeous lighting and filters, and cool architecture.
