Brisbane, Australia, singer–and MMA fighter– Ezra James is a dope find. He has a unique voice, and a certain soul that’s carried throughout his SoundCloud; he comes across and an Aussie answer to Miguel. His catalog is a blend of universally contemporary R&B with an electro vibe to it. It’s radio-ready, danceable, and already making noise on radio down-under. He’s now setting his sights on international spins–and, frankly, we don’t see it being an issue.
His most recent release, “Thinking Of Me,” already have over 60k spins and counting, and is a fitting addition to a list of big tunes that includes “Runaway,” which we got put onto last year as part of a Spotify discovery. Ezra is most definitely an act to keep an eye on.
