Paterson, New Jersey, has a long lineage of hip-hop talent–both commercially and underground. The beautiful [and talented] 22-year-old Malliyah Doll is looking to add her name to the list of talent from the Garden State. Her recent mixtape, aptly titled #Ratchet America, is a collection of tracks that shows off both her singing and bilingual [singing/rapping] ability–as she’s 100% Mexican.
Her latest record off of the mixtape, “My Baby” featuring HomeBoy, is a trap-infused radio-ready record oozing with commercial appeal. Worth a spot on your playlist–but you’re encouraged to check out the whole mixtape, though. She has bars and tons of different flavors. You’re welcome.
