Simultaneously blending into the current wave of 2017 hip-hop, while managing to stand up—and out—Tagh is a not your everyday rapper. His idea of hip-hop is more rooted in the 90s sensibility that placed a more make-or-break emphasis on an authentic and direct feel. His music, as he describes it, “deals with real issues and real hardships that [he] experienced in his own skin,” while delivering a steady, engaging flow. Hailing from Long Beach, California—home to heavily gang activity and iconic artists like Snoop Dogg—Tagh recently released a new project titled A Nightmare on 67th Street, which highlights his lyrical delivery and punchy production values.
