Skilled — and determined – rapper and entrepreneur Jay Byrd, started out at the age of 11 creating mix tapes and recording singles. The Columbus, Georgia, native has since developed his music and started his own business; not bad right? He works exclusively with a production team called The Mohracle and is entirely self-funded, managed, promoted and marketed. He uses his entrepreneurial skills and knowledge of the music industry to further his brand and image. This is something he details in his latest record, “Entrepreneurship,” an ode to the all out, all or nothing lifestyle of working for yourself.
