“When I wrote this song, I took on the quest to translate the deep emotions I have about an inanimate object into a relationship between a man and a woman.” –JaneliaSoul

Baltimore’s multi-cultural songstress JaneliaSoul has been steadily making her name known on the Afro-pop scene for a minute now – and has become a staple on the African indie scene. She’s currently hard at work on her upcoming LP, which she hopes will fully showcase what she has to offer to a new audience here, state-side. Her new single, “Love-Hate,” was written during a spiritual journey of self-discovery in her homeland, Nigeria, West Africa – where her mother hails from a royal family.

The reggae-soaked tune is as real as it gets, and puts what we can look forward to from her upcoming studio full-length on Front-street. Check out the video below, and if you like it, mash the share button.
