The Howard Theatre was “lit” for “50 Cent and Friends” promo concert for Effen Vodka. This was an exclusive event that was hosted by WPGC 95.5 DC. Regardless of what it was for, Seeing this multilevel artist performance gave you a sense of why 50 is such a success. On and off the stage 50 has become a household name through music, business, and his hit STARZ network series “Power.” With Hip Hop at the root of it all, Fif did not disappoint by showing his fans that he still has power on the stage. Opening for 50 was “Phresher” with his hit “Wait a Minute” feat 50. When I talk about energy and commanding the stage, Phresher has that ability. In an instant of him hitting the stage, Phresher put pressure on the crowd and wouldn’t let up. I can guarantee there were hundreds of downloads after his performance.
