Think big; you get big. Word to Biggie! That’s the mindset of newcomer GNRL, who plans to make music industry history, by selling out an arena using only the internet. GNRL, which is an abbreviation of his real name, General, lives in Macomb, Michigan by way of Harrow, Ontario (Canada). The Canadian-born artist started an independent movement to do what most artist can’t do with a major record deal — sell out major stadium shows. GNRL’s electric debut mixtape Hip Hop In Macomb encompasses what any great mixtape would need to have, to complete such a colossal task. It’s 13 shots of eclectic, modern production, and solid lyrical delivery.
