Andre Ramseur, better Dre Wonda is no stranger to the music industry; getting his start at a young age as part of the multi-platinum group Hi-Five — with hits like “I Like The Way” and “She’s Playin’ Hard To Get” — he’s worked with royalty such as Erick Sermon. Today, the Long Island resident, currently in negotiations with eOne to drop a full-length LP, is promoting his latest single, “Text Me.”
Beaming with a heavy rock-n-roll bop, and a catchy chorus, the song has all the ingredients for a summer banger. It’s just one of four flame emoji singles he’s dropped so far this year, including his spin on the iconic “California Dreaming,” the slow sexy acoustic guitar driven “Hurry Girl,” and the soulful vibe of “Beauty Queen” — with it’s Raphael Saadiq vibe.
