De Boss’s [adventurous] life started out in Lagos, NIGERIA, as he was born in the EastHood of Delta state in the Downtown section of Okubor. At age ten, he wrote his first rhymes and immediately developed aspirations of being a professional Entertainer. By the following year, De Boss had gained a swell of support in his hometown. Back in 2011, he became a part of one the lauded hip-hop group The RapGang, which included the most talented rappers in Africa. Not only did the team initiate (regional) rap and fashion styles which are still influential today, but the collective, especially De Boss, introduced many slang words and phrases — like an African E-40.
