Cannibal Ox collaborator COSMIQ recently teamed up with artist Jonathan Djob Nkondo for the super dope “Futur Sauvage/Virus ZZ” interactive comic book — a prequel to Nkondo’s first “Futur Sauvage” instalment. It’s an animated, post-apocalyptic story of a man vs. the elements with a killer soundtrack.
Nkondo is a talented draftsman, animator, and designer of graphics, whose sketchbook drawings and animation are terrifically solid in the sense that each figure has a strong, believable structure supporting their unique cartoon coatings. COSMIQ — who gives the animated piece extra dimension — is a longtime friend of AAHH, most recently chatting with us about his upcoming work with rapper Vast Aire, AIREPLANE, which is dropping next year.
