Along Came Life Drops Debut Album

The Jimi Hendrix of the violin, the Mick Jagger of the mic, and the eccentric essence of Rick James; meet Along Came Life (ACL). One of the youngest students to ever be admitted to the esteemed Julliard School Of Music, ACL (formally known as Tourie Escobar), started off playing violin in the NYC subway system with his brother as one half of the groundbreaking, award-winning duo, Nuttin’ But Stringz. Their big break came when they auditioned for America’s Got Talent in 2008, and ultimately placing third overall. That led the duo to incredible places, like playing for President Bush, rocking at Obama’s inaugural ball in 2009, appearances in national magazines like Essence, major commercial placement with McDonald’s, and appearances on television programs like 106th & Park, Ellen and many more. As well, their album Struggle from the Subway to the Charts was incredibly well received, even selling platinum in Japan.

A multi-talented singer, songwriter and violinist with distinction, ACL is now stepping out with his debut album, Thoughts From My Head, which showcases his vocals and songwriting skills. Head over to iTunes and grab a copy.

For now, get familiar with Along Came Life.
