RebelsofParadise, the duo of Hasheesh and Scuba, are bringing a hazy, southern-slanged brand of originality to the game. They have melodies, bars [on top of bars] and a great ear for beats. They have a vibe the puts me in the mind of say Nappy Routes, mixed with Bun-B-esque wordplay. Sonically, they’re like two speedboats; making waves you’ll be sure to hear for a long time to come.
