24-year-old Bay Area producer Dub Stacks has five years in the game — as well as a style and endearing focus that makes him stand out. “The music I put out promotes self-confidence, self-worth, and positive self-esteem,” he tells AAHH. “Hip-Hop had saved my life and helped me through hard times when I was a child.”

As he further explains, his latest project is his way of giving back to the culture. “[The culture] helped me become who I am today,” he says. “My goal is to reach out to listeners who have been going through hard times in their life, and when they listen to my music, I want them to feel they can keep going.”

His 7-song project Introversion features a host of talented guests and is available for streaming now via SoundCloud. Press play, below.
