K.Cher’ee: Return Of That 90s R&B

“I’m bringing back that R&B that has been lost, the kind of music that once had meaning behind the beat and the lyrics.” — K. Cher’ee

Ohio-born K. Cher’ee was truly molded by 90s era of R&B – from Monica and Tamia to Aaliyah and SWV. From a young age, her mother gave her lessons which led her to sing in church and school choirs. It wasn’t until after her graduation, though, that she linked up with her cousin’s mutual friend A.J. Kemp; from there, her journey into the industry began. After the birth of her second child, she took a hiatus from her music career, instead focusing on her family obligations. The allure of her music, however, was something she couldn’t ignore. Ever since she reunited with her dreams, she can’t imagine herself departing from them again. K. Cher’ee says, “I want to reach out to people who are scared to fulfill their dreams and let them know that you can do anything you put your mind and hard work to.” Currently, she’s hard at work on her debut album, and gracing stages with her gorgeous voice.

Check out her latest video – a medley of vibes including her new hit single “Let Em Go,” as well as a couple of others from her upcoming debut album,”Changes.”
