Straight out of Albany, New York–three hours from the mecca– Gxld has been making beats and writing music for years. He finally felt it was the right time to release his debut mixtape. Polaroid, having just been dropped within the last few days, it’s managed to amass crazy spins. “The support has been getting is crazy,” he told AAHH. “I never expected to hit so many views in such a short time–it was like overnight. A collection of music that sounds like it has some Ty Dolla $ign and Travis Scott influence is ten songs deep and leans on his singing more so than [spitting] bars. Conceptually, it’s a solid effort for a first mixtape.
