Straight out of Buffalo’s Jefferson Projects — and fresh off his appearance in Griselda’s instant street-classic film Conflicted — rapper Ponzo Houdini drops his new project, You Know The Vibes II and visual for the first single, “Another Day In The Life.”
Ponzo has been incredibly busy over the last few years, from touring (most recently as part of Benny The Butcher’s Plug I Met Tour) and launching his Hustlers Dream clothing brand to earning and turning down multiple major-label deals, and a starring role on a cable series.
But, as he explains, there was a method to his madness.
“I’ve been through way too much to take the easy way out or play the short game,” he notes via press release. “I know my worth and what is a fit for me. It’s why I turned down two major record deals and passed on the opportunity to play the role of Lil Murda in P-Valley [on Starz] … they weren’t the right fit for me long term.”
He continues, “I’ve gotten to this point with my own relentless grind, hustle and sacrifice. My own blood, sweat and life experiences. No help or investors. I’m going to do it my way—you know the vibes!”
