In 1999, Star Magazine — in an attempt to debunk the allegations that Danny Williams was not Bill Clinton’s illegitimate son — wrote a defaming story that was allegedly based on a staged DNA test. In fact, the tabloid was owned by a close Clinton friend and donor; the report itself did not contain the data to scientifically or legally prove anything.
Hip-hop artists Freenauts were inspired by the lack of justice, the systematic silencing, and the overall story, hence their latest record “Justice For Danny Williams – Clinton’s Son.” The record — and visual — is off of their debut mixtape, Beats, Rhymes & Liberty, due out this Winter. It’s Hip Hop for the freedom-minded. “Not Democrats or Republicans,” they explain, “we’re anarchists who strive to deliver truthful and meaningful content in creative and entertaining ways.”
