Clyde Kelly – Magic

Following up on his last single, “Knox,” which we featured a few weeks back, rapper Clyde Kelly the second single — “Magic — off of his upcoming debut album, Not Rich Yet. According to the artist himself, the track’s inspiration comes from Kendrick Lamar’s lyric on Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, “You’re moving backwards if you suggest that you sleep with a tech; go buy a chopper and have a doctor on speed dial I guess.”

“Magic” is a blend of bars, and smooth, bassy summer aesthetic — perfect for either club of radio. The NC rapper, who recently signed an indie deal, has a new album in the works, which he anticipates will drop in time for back-to-school.
