Big Things are Happening for Gucci Mane

Gucci Mane has recently taken to social media and proclaimed his newfound wisdom. Across his social pages, he said, “God thank you for my punishment it made me wise.” On May 13, 2014, Gucci plead guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He agreed to a plea deal and was released, as a result, in late 2016. Recording an album that’s focused on redemption and the future, for Gucci, is a brilliant move because it will help him continue to push out great music that is relatable and still edgy.

Recently, on October 2016, Gucci dropped his latest album on Atlantic Records and 1017 Records, Woptober. The album is only available for streaming. The first single “Bling Blaww Burr” has received a lot of positive reviews and is filled with memorable ad-libs. Another single, from Woptober, that’s hitting it big on the airwaves is “Last Time” featuring hip‐hop artist and producer Travis Scott. The mixtape also features guest appearances from Rick Ross and Young Dolph. Woptober reveals a different side of Gucci.

Instead of focusing on all of the controversial legal issues and addictions that he’s faced throughout his life, the Atlanta rapper has found a way to provide his new outlook on life. The rapper was eager to get back on the road to perform and get his new music in front of everyone. The “Gucci Mane and Friends” tour is in full swing. The tour will include appearances from rappers such as 2 Chainz, Young Dolph, and Young Thug – jackets can be found at See Tickets.

Gucci has collaborated on songs, tracks and singles with Lil Wayne, T.I., Omarion, Mariah Carey and Future. Gucci is no stranger to legal issues; however, he’s managed to maintain a very successful career with hit after hit. In 2010, Gucci released his first commercially successful album The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted, alongside Future. Gucci has continued to wow the hip‐hop industry. The six track mixtape called Free Bricks 2: Zone 6 Edition is a follow-up to the project the rappers released in 2011. It’s been reported that Future and Gucci created the entire six‐ track project in less than 24 hours. The two wasted no time and released the mixtape immediately. Gucci is also planning to drop The Return of East Atlanta Santa on December 16th – making that his third album release for 2016.
