San Diego, California, up-start Lew Houston rose above the mentally taxing horrors of his environment through a combination of sports and music. Influenced by the dominant sound of the south, having grown up in the musical hotbed of Houston (Texas), he began writing raps at a young age, later dropping his debut album The Progression in 2016.

His current project, the five-song Back to da Money, is available now on your streaming network of choice. Lew has a lot to look forward to in the coming year — including music videos and an album dropping this April.

Queens-born — ATL-bred — MC Tre Cartel is no stranger to AAHH. Having begun recording after returning home from the military, he’s dropped three projects worth your attention. “The knowledge acquired in the years since I’ve begun the journey of recording music has been priceless,” he notes proudly, telling AAHH  he’s savoring the journey.

His new single “Butter,” produced by The Martianz, follows his formula of blessing airy, dream-like trap beats. The song is a one-off, but Tre reveals that he is dropping an EP — though he has no specific title or date yet. “I’m focusing on building my label No Y Music Group with a few upcoming artists as well,” he notes.
