Houston, Texas, MC — and aspiring actor — Platinum B LOvE (formerly Platinum B Gumbie) likens himself as a cutting-edge combination of old school homage and music a step ahead of the rest. According to the man himself, he’s ready to bring a breath of fresh air, realness, connectivity … straight to the people, right where it belongs.
To date, he’s dropped a handful of hot singles, including: the obvious standout “I Don’t Know Em,” “I Miss My Momma,” “Diamond in the Dirt,” and most recently “Issa Problem” (which dropped this last March).
The staff were instantly sold after “I Don’t Know Em,” a 2017 jawn (now catching stream) that interpolates Lil Kim’s breakout hit “Crush On You,” with Platinum B’s melodic flow and earworm chorus. We’ve seen this track making some movements around the timeline the most few months — and for good reason.
The newest cut, the bouncy “Issa Problem,” is filled with an abundance of gems about life in the hood, among other things.
