“In honor of Dr. Seuss day, we will all be writing our [own] poems.”
Born in Liberia and moving to the US at the age of 2, rapper Plan B began writing poetry back in grade school. Poems matured into
verses and — eventually — full-length songs. Aside from a dedicated artist, he’s also a self-taught producer and audio engineer. He describes his music as “a blend of Eminem’s lyrical prowess, Hopsin’s witty punchlines, and Wale’s deep melodic tunes.” He puts an emphasis on artistry and individuality, elements that were once the forefront of this hip-hop culture, but has seemingly taken a back seat to fitting in and maintaining.
He’s seasoned, and has opened up for artists, like Kur, PnB Rock, Asia Sparks, and Teyana Taylor. Currently, he’s in the studio working working on his first all-original project entitled Honey Buns And Arizonas, which currently has no definitive release date. Recently, as a lead up, he dropped a new record called “All The Time,” which you can knock below. Give it a spin, and if you’re feeling it, hit the share button!
