Sometimes when you hear a dope record by one of your favorite rappers, you’re blissfully unaware of the real pen that was used to bring the tracks to life. Great examples are the illusive Quentin Miller, and NYC resident Jaye Gems. Born and raised in Brooklyn and Queens, NY, Jaye has written for major artists [who shall remain nameless], performed all over the tri-state, worked with some of your favorite rappers. “The album? Watch out for that, it’s going to be monster,” he says talking about his upcoming work.
