Coming off of a successful mini-tour that touched down in spots like Flint, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Miami, NYC-bred abstract artist Brian H Newman (better known as LOKYE) is making noise with his curiously unique new short film. Broken into chapters, Atmospheric Re-Entry is a hazy 12-minute collection of visual treats accompanied by some killer music.
Studying in Detroit, he came up within the underground scene throwing epic events, and has been on the move ever since. His portfolio is diversified, and beyond music he’s a fine artist—in fact, he even founded an artist collective called WEIRDOZ GANG. Under this umbrella, he also mentors a handful of younger artists.
