It all starts with the producer – and this week we’re featuring Tranquil Records own Knowledge. Straight out of White Plains, New York – and representing 914 – he has close to 15 years in the game. Initially inspired by a host of local artists in his city, he credits Havoc and Alchemist as his production muses; he produces grimy, underground street records with a 90s asthetic blended with a modern trap style. What’s his ear for artists like? Well, he says his current fave artists locals that include Black Water, Porto Rock, DakingofPanagea Ashanti, and Nile Precise.
