With love for Three 6 Mafia’s classic sound at an all-time high in popular music, DJ Paul is delivering his new solo project with fresh energy, still embracing what made him one of the most sought after producers of all time. Power, Pleasure & Painful Things is some of his most personally fulfilling work to date, with appearances from Beanie Sigel, Yelawolf, WifisFuneral, Rob Vicious, and his real life nephews Seed of 6ix. The official visual for “Real Money” featuring Beanie Sigel premiered today, and fans can download or stream the project here: https://onerpm.lnk.to/PPPThings.

In addition to the album, Paul is currently on the road with Insane Clown Posse, Rittz and more for Fury Fest. The 27-city tour began May 3 in Poughkeepsie, NY, and winds throughout the country to the final date June 9 in Chattanooga, TN.

“It’s an exciting feeling to have my album dropping while I’m on this tour,” Paul expresses. “It’s been a while since I’ve really been on the road for a length of time. I’m looking forward to sharing my new music and the classic hits, and connecting with the fans in person.”

Last week, DJ Paul had cause to celebrate as Drake took home a record 12 Billboard Music Awards, including Top Rap Album and Top Billboard 200 Album for his multi-platinum Scorpion project. DJ Paul produced “Talk Up” featuring Jay-Z, and made headlines for the collaboration upon the album’s release.

“I’m so happy to be a part of this award winning album,” says Paul. “I’ve been producing with a lot of different people, but this one was special because Drake is one of the greatest living performers of all time, and I’m proud that he has roots in Memphis.”

DJ Paul will be recording his weekly #MafiaRadio show live during the tour, so stay tuned for some crazy guest appearances.

As Dante Swave prepares for the release of his upcoming EP, Take Your Soul, the introspective rapper delivers the lead single to the project dubbed, “Vibes” produced by Shhbang Records.

According to Dante the song is about energy, self love and the idea of being alive: “The way you can catch a vibe is through energy, any feeling that makes you feel good in any sort of way. Aesthetics within your visionary perception. Meeting people you connect with, having fun, and being comfortable with yourself is how you catch a vibe. It all starts with self-love and loving the idea of being alive,” Dante explained.

After taking his high school by storm rapping a diss record at the school talent show, Dante Swave became inspired to pursue rap seriously speaking on real life situations and violence that he witnessed in New York as a youth.

I started rapping when I was 13 years old because of life situations that made me put a pen to paper like violence in the streets of NYC and common teen depression,” Dante Swave explained. “I made a diss track towards someone at my old high school in retaliation for making a song about me. I  performed it at a school talent show which made my whole school go crazy, making me realize this is what I wanted to do”

Rolling into the Summer, Dante Swave is prepping for his Take Your Soul EP and encourages everyone to live their best life.”Be yourself and live your best life, this world is like an alternate reality just play it the best way you can and have fun.”

Today MSC Jay drops his new uptempo track “Take You There” with help from R&B crooner, “Rell” of Roc-a-Fella Records. The energetic bass-heavy track produced by Mr. Hanky (Lil Duval – “Smile B*tch”) embodies a nostalgic sample harkening back to the mid-eighties. Representing the “Geechie Gullah” culture established around the island of St. Helena, South Carolina, MSC Jay is poised to leave his unique mark on the music industry while shedding light on his indigenous heritage.

“Take you there is really a fun type record with a Summertime feel to it. I linked up wit Mr. Hanky, got 3 beats from him and wrote to 2 of them,” MSC Jay explained.  “The last beat I didn’t really know how I was going to come on there so my management sent it to Rell. Rell cooked up da hook and sent it to me and da rest is history”

Rolling into the Summer MSC Jay has a host of spot dates planned along with several radio appearances at regional clubs and concerts. When asked about how he is approaching the promotion of this record, MSC Jay said, “As far as promoting the record goes we gone be hitting the streets, clubs, & internet at the same time with this record. I want it to be done organically to keep people’s attention! ”
