We’re in an age when co-signs mean a lot, whether we like to admit it or not. That’s perhaps why the upcoming projects by rapper and indie CEO Coolhandtrew — a cat who’s been on our radar for a minute now — are so impressive to heads in the know.

For starters, there’s his upcoming release World’s Fault; not only does it feature names like legendary Bronx duo Camp Lo and BK freestyle aficionado Wordsworth, But it’s produced by Ski Beatz. For those not familiar, he’s the beatsmith behind iconic records like Jay-Z’s “Dead Presidents” and “Streets Is Watching,” as well as Camp-Lo’s “Luchini.”

Trew’s diversity sets him apart. Case and point, he’s also a part of duo alongside Eric Haywood called Fly Never Dies, which is musically an alternative hip-pop fusion. Their release “Make Me Happy” features the newlywed Jean Grae.

As we countdown to the September 2nd release of World’s Fault, Trew has a dope appetizer with his latest joint “Silver Grey” with its super soulful production. Check it out below, and stay tuned to Trew’s Twitter for updates.
