“Music is my everything,” says young Clyde Kelly, California resident and rapper. He started rocking mics at the tender age of 16. While attending College in North Carolina, He became a familiar face at local poetry slams and rap battles. He spent a lot of time recording songs in a local studio — developing his sound. After relocating to Cali, he landed a deal with indie label Halliburton Productions; He’s now working on my debut album.

His latest drop, “Cold Shoulder,” is an airing of grievances and a shedding of the dead weight in his circumference. With a head nodding beat, and a cool sing-song flow, which has a unique cadence, he states bluntly, “I’m building while you breaking down, don’t wanna know ya.”
