Hailing from the Upper West Side of the Bug Apple, Katiah One is preparing the world for a debut, A Whole Lotta Water Works. As an appetizer, his latest visual treat “Tail Spin,” with its mesmerizing black and white treatment, is one hell of a statement.
As Katiah explains, he’s on a mission to transform the perception of the “average rapper.” He draws inspiration from many genres including R&B and Rock — both of which we can glean from this new single. With diverse favorite artists that range from the late Freddy Mercury, Sam Cooke, and Issac Brock, he says his goal is to “be a positive influence on the world and make people smile.”
