Queens-born — ATL-bred — MC Tre Cartel is no stranger to AAHH. Having begun recording after returning home from the military, he’s dropped three projects worth your attention. “The knowledge acquired in the years since I’ve begun the journey of recording music has been priceless,” he notes proudly, telling AAHH he’s savoring the journey.
His new single “Butter,” produced by The Martianz, follows his formula of blessing airy, dream-like trap beats. The song is a one-off, but Tre reveals that he is dropping an EP — though he has no specific title or date yet. “I’m focusing on building my label No Y Music Group with a few upcoming artists as well,” he notes.
