Mr. P Chill Put Love Over BS On ”Where Do We Go”

Longtime AAHIPHOP support MC Mr. P Chill releases an inspiringly powerful new record titled ”Where Do We Go,” a song that rhetorically ponders where society — in its current broken iteration — goes next. Over an airy instrumental, the vet drops bars packed with hard truths and poignant food for thought.

The song’s visual treatment follows P Chill through scenes accented by trains and retrospective solitude, capturing the song’s aesthetic perfectly. Whether an answer for the world’s seeming devolvement into a state of World Star Hip Hop-esque ignorance is love, the MC wears his views (particularly on the current administration and the country’s ”fearless” leader) on his sleeve.

Hip Hop as a voice of change — refreshingly back to basics. Check out Mr. P Chill’s ”Where Do We Go” above.

East Coast representer P 80 returns with a new single dubbed, “Smooth Ish”.  Produced by Grammy Award winning and RIAA Platinum producer Omen, who produced Drake’s “Shut It Down” and Lil Wayne’s “I’m Single,” this sonically dark East Coast track carries a mellow vibe as P 80 effortlessly rhymes with a monotone flow on the track.

“Me and Omen made the beat together a few years ago. When I made the song I didn’t really like it but Omen did and he kinda pressed me to put it on tha EP,” P 80 explained. “After we put out the EP, I realized that a lot of people fu**ed with it so we shot the vid for it with Xash.”

The visual follows up P 80’s previous release “For You” ft. Selina Carrera, which earned P 80 critical acclaim from over 30 blog sites including Daily-HipHop, Siccness, HipHopEnquirer, Tent-TV and more.

With Summer around the corner P 80 is focused on the essentials in life right now; creating and chasing after the all-mighty dollar.

“My plans for the Summer is to keep creating and save my paper. Try to stay focused and inspired,” P 80 explained.

As Dante Swave prepares for the release of his upcoming EP, Take Your Soul, the introspective rapper delivers the lead single to the project dubbed, “Vibes” produced by Shhbang Records.

According to Dante the song is about energy, self love and the idea of being alive: “The way you can catch a vibe is through energy, any feeling that makes you feel good in any sort of way. Aesthetics within your visionary perception. Meeting people you connect with, having fun, and being comfortable with yourself is how you catch a vibe. It all starts with self-love and loving the idea of being alive,” Dante explained.

After taking his high school by storm rapping a diss record at the school talent show, Dante Swave became inspired to pursue rap seriously speaking on real life situations and violence that he witnessed in New York as a youth.

I started rapping when I was 13 years old because of life situations that made me put a pen to paper like violence in the streets of NYC and common teen depression,” Dante Swave explained. “I made a diss track towards someone at my old high school in retaliation for making a song about me. I  performed it at a school talent show which made my whole school go crazy, making me realize this is what I wanted to do”

Rolling into the Summer, Dante Swave is prepping for his Take Your Soul EP and encourages everyone to live their best life.”Be yourself and live your best life, this world is like an alternate reality just play it the best way you can and have fun.”
