Quavo Recruits T.I. for New Single Backwards

Quavo has linked with T.I. for a new single called “Backwards,” released through Quality Control Music and Motown Records.

The Pharrell Williams-produced track connects two generations of Atlanta rap as Quavo continues rolling out his third solo album, QRÖMELIFE. The project is due Oct. 2 and will be Quavo’s first full-length release since 2023’s Rocket Power, with Pharrell executive producing the album.

T.I. arrives on the record fresh off his latest album, Kill the King, while Quavo has spent the summer teasing the next phase of his solo catalog. “Backwards” follows earlier QRÖMELIFE singles including “Haavin” and “Trance (Walk It Down).”
