Following a creative hiatus, Virginia MC Cool Hand Trew has made a triumphant return with his brand new LP, The James Crockett Experience. First dropped September 4, 2020, the eclectic project features underground (see true school) giants and a fantastic message.

Trew has enlisted names like legendary producer skibeatz, Brand Nubian MC Sadat X, Jean Grae, Blu, WordsWorth, and Ha Mystique — among a host of others. Most admirably, the funds from digital album sales via his Bandcamp are being donated to Breonna Taylor and Elijah McClain memorial funds.
Trew’s journey has been anything but smooth sailing; his determination and “never say die” spirit pushed him through every single obstruction in his path. Today he is not just an artist, but label owner — operating his own Clocked Out Records imprint.

The James Crockett Experience is the follow up to 2018’s World’s Fault, which featured his fire emoji single “My T-Shirt Remix,” featuring Geechi Suede of Camp Lo, Simon P and Mari — as well as numerous skibeatz produced gems.
