Rapper Glasses Malone is confident that Kendrick Lamar will respond to Joey Bada$$’ recent disses. Via X, Malone stated, “Joey know sure as sh— bars are coming his way.” He believes it’s just a matter of when Lamar will reply.
Joey Bada$$ initiated the rap battle earlier this year with his track “The Ruler’s Back,” where he mentioned Kendrick’s victory over Drake. He continued to call out Lamar in subsequent tracks, including “The Finals” and “My Town,” where he referenced Lamar’s status in the industry and his Pulitzer win.
In “Crash Dummy,” Joey Bada$$ imitated a West Coast rapper and once again mentioned Lamar. He rapped, “What’s the current situation? N—as just clickbaitin’,” suggesting that Lamar may be avoiding a direct confrontation.
