JAY‑Z announced plans for a two‑night residency at Yankee Stadium this July to commemorate milestone anniversaries for two of his defining records. The Brooklyn native will spotlight his 1996 debut, Reasonable Doubt, on Friday, July 10, and follow with a set honoring 2001’s The Blueprint on Saturday, July 11.

The announcement, shared on the artist’s social channels, did not list support acts or guest performers. Given the high‑profile collaborators and producers associated with both albums — including contributors such as Kanye West, Mary J. Blige and Foxy Brown — surprise appearances remain possible. Ticketing details will be released at a later date.

The stadium dates come after JAY‑Z was named the headliner for the 2026 Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on May 30, suggesting a larger slate of live appearances this year. He has also been marking his catalog’s history recently: last month he reissued the original version of “Dead Presidents,” relaunched the JAŸ‑Z styling and launched JAYZ30.com to accompany a series of anniversary reissues.

Speculation about new music has circulated alongside the anniversary activity. Memphis Bleek told Drink Champs last August that he had discussed working plans with JAY‑Z, and Cash Cobain told Billboard he’d heard the rapper was preparing a project that could have major impact. Neither JAY‑Z nor his camp has confirmed a new album.

JAY‑Z’s most recent full concert engagement was an intimate tribute performance at Paris’ Fondation Louis Vuitton roughly three years ago. For now, fans should expect official ticket and routing announcements in the coming weeks, and the artist’s social channels and JAYZ30.com for further updates.
