Sacramento rapper Mozzy has always been known for his raw, honest, and introspective lyrics. His latest album, CHILDREN OF THE SLUMS, takes this to a new level, as he dedicates the project to those who have been left behind by the streets. The album features guest appearances from Eric Bellinger and Mozzy’s Oak Park associates Celly Ru and E Mozzy.
One of the most emotional cuts on the album is “LOST IT ALL,” which features a heart-wrenching hook from Fridayy. The album is his first since ending a year-long prison sentence, and it reveals that he most regrets being less able to help his community while he was away.
