Joe Budden has expressed his frustration over Drake’s sudden silence following the conclusion of their feud with Kendrick Lamar. Budden had been in contact with Drake for several months, but the rapper cut off communication after the feud ended.

During a recent episode of his podcast, Budden shared his disappointment with Drake’s decision to ghost him. “You know the funniest thing about this?” he said. “I’ve been talking to this guy throughout the whole beef. He hasn’t spoken to me since that battle ended. He hasn’t contacted me at all since it ended, and I don’t like it. You should keep the same energy.”

Budden had previously declared Kendrick Lamar the winner of the feud, stating that Lamar’s skills were superior to Drake’s. He also criticized Drake’s decision-making during the battle, saying that he didn’t have the necessary options ready to match Lamar’s variables.

Despite his criticism, Budden defended Drake’s legacy, stating that his music remains phenomenal regardless of who wrote it. He also acknowledged that Drake’s reputation is already cemented, and that a lot more would need to happen for him to look bad.

The feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has been a hot topic in hip-hop recently, with both sides trading diss tracks. While Drake’s “Push Ups” was seen as a response to Lamar’s “Like That,” many believe that Lamar’s “Not Like Us” was the decisive blow in the battle.
