Despite his growing legal troubles, Diddy’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will reportedly remain unchanged. According to TMZ, a spokesperson for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce stated that the committee lacks the authority to remove the star. The committee is only responsible for nominating recipients, manufacturing and installing the stars, and conducting the Walk of Fame installation ceremony.
Diddy’s legal issues have been escalating recently. A viral video from 2016 shows an alleged assault involving his then-girlfriend Cassie. Diddy has been defiant in the face of these allegations, telling a close friend that there was a larger “agenda” behind the video’s release. He insists that the video only tells half the story and questions the timing of its release.
Furthermore, Diddy has been accused in a new rape lawsuit of forcing a woman to have sex with his late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter. The alleged victim, April Lampros, claims that Diddy sexually assaulted her on four occasions, including once with Porter after she was forced to take ecstasy. Lampros is suing Diddy for battery, sexual assault, infliction of emotional distress, and gender-motivated violence, alleging that the incidents occurred between 1995 and 1996.
