Kanye West, now known as Ye, joined forces with YoungBoy Never Broke Again for their highly-anticipated collaboration track, “Alive.”

The song, which has a distorted sound reminiscent of West’s previous work, was released on Ye’s Instagram on Wednesday. Ye captioned the post with, “ALIVE YE X NBA YoungBoy YZY SZN 10.”

“Alive” features a sample from DJ Swamp Izzo’s version of “Alive,” as heard in Playboi Carti’s “Crank” track.

In the song, Ye raps about those who copy his style, while YoungBoy takes aim at his critics. YoungBoy has been a longtime supporter of Ye, previously expressing his admiration for the rapper in his music.

Ye has faced backlash for controversial comments made on social media, leading to the cancellation of his upcoming concert in South Korea. Despite the controversies, Ye continues to push forward with new music releases.
